I had the honor of serving as dramaturg during Cara Hagan’s residency at The National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron (NCCAkron) as she a her artistic collaborators: Ananya Chatterjea, Paloma McGregor, and Tamara (Fákẹ́mi) Williams created a collection of short films that explore ancestry, embodied relationships to place, and the reframing of histories as women of color. The films premiered Saturday, June 19, 2021.
